Inside Sales / Building Materials

Walter & Jackson, Inc., a thriving, independent company for over 150 years that offers a complete line of Lumber and Building Materials; Kitchens and Baths, and Doors and Windows, has an immediate need for an experienced Inside Sales representative at our Quarryville, PA location.

Our Inside Sales representative will have a passion for providing excellent service in assisting customers with their purchase options for remodeling projects, additions, and new construction jobs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· First point-of-contact with new customers in person or via phone

· Assist customers at the sales counter with product options and recommendations

· Assist customers in troubleshooting their needs and project solutions

· Answer phones, take orders and enter key information into our ERP system

· Create and maintain long-lasting relationships with our customers

· Partner up with outside sales team in coordinating deliveries to customers

· Monitor deliveries and process returns

· Organize purchase and schedule delivery of Special Order Items

· Remain in close contact with customers to ensure their satisfaction

· Potential for advancement

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

· 1-2 years’ experience in the Lumber & Building Products industry

· Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills

· Maintain a strong positive attitude

· Take pride in being a part of a strong team

· Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities

· Proficient in Microsoft Office
